Care for oily hair:
Wash your hair as often as needed, but avoid washing your hair every day. Use a mild shampoo, specially designed for oily hair. The shampoo must cleanse your hair from the oils and the impurities, and at the same time it must be appropriate for a daily use. Don’t use hair dryer everyday and don’t brush your hair frequently. Although applying a conditioner isn’t a must for those people with oily hair there are some conditioners designed especially for oily hair that might help. Look for a product designed for oily hair and containing the least amount of oils. Don’t use too much styling products, instead coat just the ends of the hair and always use hair products designed for oily hair.
Special care for oily hair:
Use hair serums formulated specially for oily hair. To decrease the amount of oil, after washing your hair rinse it with fresh lemon juice dissolved in 1 liter water.

Dry hair needs plenty of nourishing and conditioning and needs an extra boost of moisture to keep it under control. Wash your hair with a hydrating shampoo designed especially for dry hair. Use protecting hair products / suitable sunscreen for example/, especially during the summer months. Avoid using electric curlers and hair dryers as they can make your hair even drier. Look for a low pH shampoo to keep your hair moisturized. Trim your hair regularly to remove split and damaged ends. Consider using hair products with SPF and never use hair care products containing too harsh ingredients. Choose mild shampoos – nourishing or hydrating.
Special care for dry hair:
Massage your scalp every time while shampooing your hair to improve blood circulation. Use 2 tbsp. heated olive oil or almond oil. Wrap your hair in a hot towel and leave it on for at least 30 minutes. Do this every week.

i have premature hair greying. i apply henna on my hair. As the hair on my forehead have become grey, i have to apply it every week. Do you have any solution that i need not apply henna every week and the colour of henna stays longer. Please advise.
i have dry hair.
I want my henna colour to stay on hair for atleast 15 days. Hair behind on head do not loose their colour so soon.
Dear jyoti,
Henna works great for most of the women but those with gray hair (like yours’) may not achieve best results. One of the best advantages of henna is that henna prevents premature graying of the hair but unfortunately it is not very effective in coloring gray hair.
You had better consult a professional hairdresser or colorist. Consider dying your gray hair with permanent or semi-permanent hair color, as the color usually lasts up to 30/ 40 days.
Also, it’s very important to use color enhancing products – shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, serums as well as color – protecting shampoos that prevent the color from facing. Try Kerastase Bain Apres-Soleil Repairing Shampoo For Colored Hair ($30), Sedu Color Heat Protecting Boost ($13.80), Brilliant Brunette Satin Shine Finishing Crème.
best wishes
