My hair was once silky soft, naturally curly, and wavy! I would straightin it everyday. But it would be straight and beautifully curl at the ends-like it was alive. My hair always had body. it was beautiful!! I never had to use relaxers because my hair is a mixture of African American and Indian. Now its damaged and dull : (. I dont put heat to it. It's so puffy and dry, I cant even wrap it! Im trying to do everything I can to bring it back. I don't know what to do. Except cut it all off uuh! HELP!!

I know exactly what your talking about girl! everyone says “go with your natural hair!” But, I have never met ANYONE with hair like me!!! My hair isn’t straight, curly, OR wavy!!! It is straight in some parts, frizzy and super curly in other parts, wavy in parts, and kinky in other parts!!! It is ridiculous! I either have to make it more curly, more wavy, or straighten the whole thing! I can’t go natural, because it would litteraly look like i couldn’t decide what to do with my hair, so I did everything!!!

I love this article! I have dry,frizzy,chemically-overprocessed (due to relaxers)hair and everything thats goes along w/ those line, but this article has helped alot. I will take your advice into conccideration the next time i buy hair product and wash my hair and dry my hair... I love the fact that you have posted up products for my hair type because I'm hispanic but my hair isn't like hispanic hair. It's curly but in a scense that it is naturally wiry, and poofy to the extreme. So my hair is right inbetween an African Americans hair type and a Hispanic Hair type, I've done relaxers but the breakage associated with them has made me stop. So the bottome of my hair is faded medium brown and straight, the middle part is brown and a little straight and poofy, and my roots/ top part of my head is my natural hair which is black. I currently use Head and Shoulders shampoo and Phyto Organics Condition (Humectin), and I use gel and John-Freida frizz ease serum (for chronic frizz) but nothing has really helped. My hair is always poofy and frizzy... And my stylist has told me to stop using gel because it dries my hair, but i continue to use it because nothing else lets me have my hair down without stay in its place (although it is frizzy)... I was wondering if you have any tips or advice on stling products or things I can do to my hair..

P.S. please write back.
