Hormone replacement or birth control are the only things that wil stop hormonal acne. Here are a few tricks, nutritional supplements, topical ingredients that you can look for in skincare products and an easy regimen: EXPOSED SKINCARE has a set....love that one, the other is CLEAR PORES. they have a regimen that you should follow. 1. Do not wash your face more than twice a day-morning and night with a cleanser that contains triclosan (antibacterial). 2. 3 nights a week use a small wash cloth along with your cleanser and lightly buff the skin with lukewarm water for about 30 seconds, no more than that. 3. Pat skin dry 4. In the AM use a toner that will help purify your skin...witch hazel has been used for years! You can buy a bottle a witch hazel in the skincare section at any drug store. Then add about 20 drops of 100% pure tea tree oil. Shake the bottle before you use it though. Apply it with a cotton pad. 5. During the day you can use a light acne treatment in the affected areas and then a moisturizer and/or an SPF that contains Zinc Oxide. Some people can be allergic to Zinc, but it is really rare. BEST SPF EVER!!!!! DIOR SNOW!!!! SPF 50....and it is only $50 surprisingly enough for Christian Dior products. PM 1. At night just cleanse and no toner...drug store cleanser: CETAPHIL 2.
