Hi there

My skin was left very dehydrated after going on Acne drug Roaccutane. I also kept it too clean which was not healthy. My skin has taken a battering over the years. I also live in a dry alpine climate. The best moisturiser I have ever tried is Rationale, Enriched hydration (it is thick and so you don't need to use much - but your skin will be comfortable and improve). Personally (and you must understand my life has been dedicated to a passion for skincare after being affected by Acne), I have tried ALOT of lines, alot of creams, this by far cuts the mustard.

This will help cosmetically, but I'd make sure you are keeping everything else in check, like water intake, diet, sleep (lack of sleep really dehydrates skin). If there is anything you think are majory missing then work to fix it as we can't be too perfect (i treat myself to wine and the odd social cigarette with the girls)!

I am sure Rationale would help you but would be good if you could tell them your story and get a sample sent first as it is quite pricey, but well worth it in my opinion.

I was born with a severe skin dehydration so for me it will never go away. I've learned to find everyday cost effictive skin care. One makeup which I found is best is Bare Essentuals. mineral makeup. It doesn't dry out my skin and keeps it looking supple all day. For body mosturizer: St Eve's and for a night time face moisturizer: PureCellin Bio-oil.
