How To Curl Your Hair With Rollers At Home
If for years you have spent hours ironing your curly hair until it is sleek you can now put down your straighteners and wear your curls with pride. Curls have made a comeback and they are bigger and bolder than ever before.
The success of your curls depends mainly in your cut. Curly hair needs a great shape and work best with long layers. The hair should be left at least one inch longer than other hair types. Layering removes some of the weight which prevents it corkscrewing into itself and becoming knotted.
Hot rollers and sponge rollers will give you amazing curls.
How to curl your hair with rollers:
– first wash your hair
- apply styling hair product
- separate hair into sections using a wide comb
- spray the base of each section of hair before inserting the roller
- when hair becomes damp pile the heated rollers on top of the head and put in with hair upside down to pump up volume
- use clippers to secure the rollers
- apply heat for a few minutes
- allow the rollers to cool before removing the rollers
- gently run your fingers through your hair and shake out the curls
- finish with a blast of hair spray to keep your waves shiny and droop-free

- revive curls with a spritz of water mixed with a little volumising solution
- apply frizz-busting to the lengths of the hair before it’s dry
- never brush the curls, leave them to hang naturally and try to touch them as little as possible

- the hot rollers will give you lots of curls and volume to the hair. They must be used on thoroughly dry hair
