Don’t mistake the big ads for quality services. It simply means they had more money to invest in attracting your eye. Call several different locations and ask for an introductory meeting with either the manager or one of the hair stylists. Explain the type of look you like to maintain and what you’re looking to with you hair in the future. A good relationship is key between a hairstylist and her client. Make sure that you “click” with the person and that you feel comfortable with them doing your hair. If possible, ask for references or to look at a portfolio.
