Good article – very descriptive! I watched a You Tube Video last week on how to apply powder, and the girl was using a powder puff with loose powder, and pressing it onto the skin in sections over foundation. It looked really nice that way. I think the biggest mistake people make is rubbing the powder on over their makeup (using a puff), which only streaks the makeup. I use an awesome powder that really should be on this list, it’s called Mattify Loose Powder from Mattify Cosmetics. It’s amazing for controlling oiliness and before I found it, I had to use those blotting sheets like every hour. I put it on before my makeup and after too. My skin hasn’t looked this good ever, and it’s so nice to not have to touch up every hour! I use this with a brush, but on days my skin is extra oily, I do a touch-up at noon using a powder puff and the Mattify.
