Eye Makeup For Brown Eyes
Many celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Kiera Knightley have beautiful brown eyes and always seem to find the right eye shadow colors to make their eyes pop and look absolutely stunning. There are four different brown levels when it comes to eye color. Brown eyes can be a deep dark brown, medium brown, light brown and very light brown which is almost considered hazel.
If you have a very light brown eyes that they almost appear hazel then it is recommended that you stick with eye shadows that are just a shade darker than your actual natural skin color. Try to stick to champagne or mauve colors as they compliment light brown eyes very well. You can even make your eyes stand out more by outlining the lighter color with a beautiful bronze, violet or dark brown shade. Dark eye liner will do light brown eyes no justice as the eye liner will over power the actual color of your eyes.
If you have medium brown colored eyes then you are in luck as this is the easiest to work with. Medium colored eyes look great with practically any color shadow. Mauve, violet, green and purple shades will look amazing on a set of medium brown colored eyes. If you are feeling daring then you can always try gold’s, coppers and bronzes. When it comes to eye liner, try to stick to a darker shade such as dark brown or even black.
If you have very deep dark brown eyes that they almost appear black than most eye shadows that are in a medium to dark range color will work perfectly for you. You don’t want to appear over done or look Gothic so it is recommended that you use the lighter flecks of color in your beautiful browns to select high light colors. You should stray away from very dark eye liner colors and stick to more simple and lighter colors.
When it comes to finding a great mascara color for brown eyes, there is only one rule: If you have light brown eyes then go for a dark brown mascara. Any other brown eye color should be complete with black eye liner. Finding a great eye shadow color for brown eyes is probably easier than finding a great color for green or blue eyes. Unlike other eye colors, brown eyes do not have an complementary or opposite color.
